About CurioLab

An open experiment in AI-powered education.

What is CurioLab?

CurioLab is an educational platform that makes complex topics accessible and engaging. We cover science, history, technology, nature, and more — each topic presented at multiple depth levels so you can explore at the pace that suits you.

Full Transparency: AI-Generated Content

We believe in complete honesty about how our content is made. All articles on CurioLab are generated using artificial intelligence (specifically, Anthropic's Claude). This means:

  • Every article — its title, summary, and all three depth levels — is AI-generated.
  • We do not present AI content as human-written. It's AI, and we're upfront about it.
  • While we strive for accuracy, AI can make mistakes. We encourage readers to verify important claims through additional sources.
  • The platform itself (design, code, infrastructure) is built by a human developer with AI assistance.

How Depth Levels Work

Each article is available in three depth levels, so the same topic can be explored by anyone regardless of their background:

  • Simple Clear, jargon-free explanations for beginners and curious minds.
  • Intermediate More detail and context for those with some background knowledge.
  • Advanced In-depth coverage with technical details and nuance.

Why This Exists

CurioLab was built to explore what AI-assisted education could look like. The goal isn't to replace human-written content — it's to make knowledge more accessible and to be completely transparent about how AI is being used in the process.
